About Us

Gregory Heinze
We asked a client to describe how she felt about her new Shelburne home. After a slight pause she offered that it felt like she was getting a big HUG every time she came home! Ever since then we have called our homes "HUG HOMES". Hugs come from those close to you and the magic they cast with their creative work. With few exceptions our team is comprised of the same people we brought together in 1983. In many cases we now work with children of our original team or the motivated individual we nurtured to become owners of their own business. These people are the ones that put the HUG in your home.
Shelburne was conceived to be much more than a building company. I have selected professionals skilled in translating dreams into reality. From assistance with site selection, home design, construction, and interior appointments through the completed product, these individuals are there to help every step of the way.
Our team is comprised of several key people. Jeff Heinze, Darin Park and Brett Groves are our field superintendents guiding the construction of your home. Dawn Paris skillfully manages our office and accounting. Ken Ohlman administers our warranty service. My designer, Stan Scrutton A.I.B.D. and I have worked together for 30 years as of 2008. Ronda Divers A.I.D. paints the canvas we create to make your house a true home, her interior design sharpens and clarifies your taste. Together we possess a synergy and energy that feeds off our your ideas and needs. This intuition provides focus and direction in your dreams and turning those dreams into your spectacular Shelburne Home.
We are a small highly motivated team. Our size allows us to effectively and efficiently construct superior quality homes for involved homeowners. For 25 years we have skillfully built many custom and speculative homes. We have created neighborhoods for families and most importantly provided an environment of learning and growth for all we touch. Our success is measured by one client's statement, "This is better than we had ever imagined."
